The International Conference on SFRC 2025

The International Conference on SFRC 2025 has officially concluded - uniting more than 440 industry leaders, researchers, and structural engineers in Riga to advance the future of Steel Fiber Reinforced Concrete (SFRC).

A sincere thank you to every speaker, panelist, and participant who contributed to this milestone event.

This year’s conference created a powerful platform where engineering science met real-world construction. Across keynotes, panels, and technical discussions, experts exchanged data, challenged outdated assumptions, and demonstrated how SFRC is reshaping the design and performance of large-scale industrial facilities.

From logistics hubs to data centers and gigafactories, the event highlighted how SFRC enables:

  • Full-scale testing: How to link design codes, calculations, and the performance of structures in real-world conditions.

  • Design practice: Experience from complex international projects where SFRC (Steel Fibre Reinforced Concrete) ensures safe and resilient performance under heavy loads, automation, and long-term operation.

  • Design development: How SFRC solutions allow for the creation of resilient and adaptable structures that cannot be achieved with traditional methods.

  • Application of regulations and performance monitoring: Experience on how to practically interpret standards and test the long-term behaviour of structures.
