U.S. Ambassador to Latvia, H.E. Mr. Christopher Robinson visits Primekss Concrete R&D Center

It was an honor to host Ambassador Robinson and his team from the United States Embassy at the Primekss Concrete Research and Development Center in Riga.

The Ambassador had a keen interest and understanding about how research-based concrete is a necessity and valuable commodity globally.

PrīmX, unlike other types of concrete, uses special additives that work together with steel fiber reinforcement to create a chemically post-tensioned material. The load-bearing capacity of post-tensioned concrete is much higher, due to the use of high-quality steel fibers. We create efficient, often thinner concrete with significantly reduced or completely excluded steel mesh reinforcement - thus creating another way to reduce CO2 emissions. With improved efficiency and speed of service, PrīmX technologies reduces the amount of resource needed and ensures lower CO2 emissions during construction.

We were able to demonstrate how our R&D center and laboratory tests the properties of concrete raw materials and concrete for clients from around the world to ensure the development and quality control of the best concrete technology.

The Ambassador commended CEO, Janis Oslejs and Primekss | PrīmX® Industrial Concrete Flooring & Structural, for being one of Latvia's largest exporters that focuses on innovation and technology to provide world-class concrete technology.
